Hair Extension Recycling

Do your part and help clean up oil spills around the world with your pre-loved hair extensions!

At Nicole Robilliard Hair Extensions, we are dedicated to promoting fair and sustainable practices. As a trusted provider of high-quality hair extensions, we recognize that used extensions often end up in landfills once clients transition to a new set. This reality doesn’t align with our values, which is why we’re thrilled to partner with the Matter of Trust Program and support their Hair Matters Program. The Hair Matters Program is their global hair-mats-for-oil-spills project where they use waste fibers to turn into mats that soak up petrochemicals. This initiative raises awareness about waste fiber recycling and its positive impact on the environment — a cause we’re proud to stand behind.

How Can You Help & How Does It Work?

Whether you’re a client of mine or someone else’s, you can bring your old extensions to me. I will gather them in a bundle and remove the bond section of the extension, and wrap them in recyclable paper. I then take a photo and upload it in my account on the donation website, and they will match me to the nearest soil project in need. Once the location is confirmed, I ship the donation directly to them. It’s a simple process that makes a big impact, giving back to the earth in a meaningful way!
